Description

The traditional boundary between Tulu Nadu and Karnataka state, Chandragiri River is also known as Payaswini river. The 17th century Chandragiri fort is located on the banks of this river. Originates from a village called Koinadu of Kodagu district in Karnataka state, the river is the major source for domestic and agricultural purposes.
